The Sustainable Development Goal 11 (SDG11) seeks to make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable. It is estimated that at least 7o% of the global population will live in urban areas by 2050. While being the drivers of economic growth, contributing 80% of the global GDP, cities also emit more than 70% of greenhouse gases.
